Paradox of Stasis

Eternal

Scarlet staccato sunlight stiletto stabs my eyes

Tattooing through trees, a tap dance on a hardwood floor

The rhythmic beat reverberates through me

Like your hands on my body

Clouds slide through the sky, drifting faster than the years

And I breathe your tongue, lose myself in your lips

Memories of you echo in the marrow of my bones

The pull of the tide, the smile in your voice on my shoulder

The tips of your fingers, the tip of you

The center of me

Electric melting falling flying everythinging

pushing

pulling

Crashing high and low, ebbing, flowing, a paradox of stasis

The hush of the tide, over and over, near and far,

pushing pulling pushing

pulling, youintome

Always alwaysalways.
