Painting with words.

Poetry is the voice, a creative work of art

a shared thought or verse, that comes from the heart

Writing takes the soul, to another place and time

to be another character, freestyle it or rhyme.

Some words are penned, to stimulate the mind

others are more soothing; this is what I find

Painting eloquent words, is an artful flow

delightful pretty colours, can blend like a pro.

There is plenty of stories, to cherish and to keep

when poetry is penned, and knowledge is so deep

Writing paints the picture, for those that want to see

and poetry lights the way, sets the troubles free.

The canvas loves the brush, strokes can make you smile

let the language breathe, dance and dream a while

Visualize the future, speak and paint your day

express those deep desires, let poetry lead the way.

Colour up your dreamworld, calligraphy your soul

or splatter all the paint and do a body roll

Whatever it does take, to improve this world we live

painting with your words, is a treasure we can give.
