Over the feeling

A little poem to unload off the shoulders

Peace, finding it in the stillness of the night

within each breath

allowing the flow to calm her mind

Chaos, in the quiet room

feeling the sheets on the skin

too tight, pressed against each inch,

cant breath...

Capturing the feelings that she feels,

alone in the room, recalling the events throughout the day

pondering the same phrase said to her, earlier last night

"you were told to lose some weight..."

"are you going to eat that?"

"oh, aren't you getting full yet..?"

strange to think that others care this much about you

in a toxic way

feels more like a punch in the face

here, have some words that don't mean a thing to them

but she will take it as an attack

to the very core of what she is

After it is said and done,

Should it matter this much?

Words hurt,

You can't take them back

Please, remember that...
