Out of reach

I looked at him in school

I looked at him during lunch brakes

I was beyond happy to see him at the shops

I carved for his attention

He talked to me casually, I was over cloud nine

I felt special when he did that

But then I realized, he treated everyone that way.

He was not perfect in everything

But he was my everything perfectly

For all those around us, we were just friends

For him we were just friends.

But for me..

I cherished him like moon, beautiful yet unreachable

I knew very well, he was out of my grasp.
