Our Bridge of White

Meet me, my love...

Meet me, my love,

Amongst these flowers of light.

Please come my dove,

Upon our bridge of white.

Don’t make me wait,

Until I may hold you tight,

For my sorrow is great,

Ever since that night.

The trees swayed above,

Above our bridge of white,

The world we were free of,

Everything felt so right.

Oh my, were you a sight,

As you leaned against the rail.

My love, you were a sprite,

I breathed a long exhale.

I knew you were the one,

There on our bridge of white.

You hair glowed like the sun,

You made my heart ignite.

I must see you again, my love,

I must know if you relate.

It is fate, which I’m sure of,

You are my soul mate.

So meet me here, my dear,

Upon our bridge of white,

I swear my love is sincere,

I will love you all my life.
