Origami Birds

Made to Fly

By André dos SantosPublished 9 years ago 1 min read

There's nothing new to write...

Only the same words in the same sheet.

The birdcage is open, my thoughts disperse

like origami birds... What's written on them?

The new thoughts are the old babies,

learning to fly for the first time,

Trying to find a destiny...

But there's no nest for infinity,

Emptiness became a second home,

For when I feel suddenly so alone...

There's always something new to write,

even nothing or the fact that your number on my phone,

is the most beautiful in all mankind,

like your smile, like your eyes....

I'm an origami bird flying through the sky,

hoping to one day find my nest in you.
