Opening
The Poetry of Change
Opening a new door,
into this wide space.
Music cascading
down ear canals and
all the different parts
of my person.
.
A four on the floor
beat, a rhythm to a start
of something new,
.
the mysterious unknown
.
and the poetry
of new motion.
.
I see the kaliedoscope
before me, new rhthyms
dancing with limbs
.
an ocean of cascading
onto a frank sense
of nervousness,
.
but what if?
.
And all the usual questions
of such change.
.
The drifting of old hearts
on new adventures and seas
of strange desire.
.
Sometimes we must
embrace such
.
difference
and run towards seduction,
of what isn't known.
.
running towards relocation
of the heart, the body, the soul.
.
A new lover,
a new experience
a new fruit picked
from a foreign tree,
.
And all this energy
communicating freedom.
.
a new thought interplaying
in my rusty synapse.
.
A new trust in
a real person partly
unseen.
.
A new sensation on my fingertips
and the taste
of someone
new on my hands
and lips
.
then trust. Life. And birth.
And rebirth. And change.
