One

America

One America in theory it’s true

The facts are there many things

We are taught to separate me from you

From the north to the south far and wide

That flag under which we stand many have died

March into battle there are many graves

As we fight to secure the home of the brave

We battle a foreign enemy from far and near

While in the midst of our own country a enemy is here

In honor of all who served and died it is a disgrace

With all the blood that has been spilled for this country we are still dealing with issues of race

We are bound by honor and we are judged by color

The seeds of inhumanity have been planted in each other

Just as a farmer pulls up a plant by its roots

What has been buried in the heart of America is a undeniable truth

Racism we are not born with but it is taught from youth

The hatred which divides us is the living proof

We each must radiate the love of our heavenly fathers son

For this country we love to become one
