*One* Side of the Story 📖📚

Literally. Only dialogue, and one side of it:

^ You remember that time we ran to IHOP at like 2 am?

^ Yeah, back then. And wasn’t it… yeah… because we knew it closed at 3.

^ Totally! We should win medals for procrastination.

^ Haha, don’t even. You’re so worse!

^ Speak for yourself. I think you were hungry as hell. I was just… you know….

^ Ok, fine. I was chomping at the bit. Literally, haha.

^ Yeah, so then we’re out of breath at the door. I think we both have to catch our breath for 3 minutes. Yeah, at least. I don’t even remember asking for a table, do you?

^ Well yeah, then I’m following you. We were at the last table open. It was big enough for four, so we called Zeeke.

^ I know! Only showed up in time to get a lemonade at the end. We ate our waffles waiting for him. And pancakes, bacon, hash browns. The whole 9.

^ Ooo, I forgot you had sausages. Good call!

^ Ok yeah, but you ate almost two pieces of my bacon.

^ Yup, we all share at the IHOP, you just gotta.

^ I know, right? Zeeke! Well, you’re that late, you only get the scraps. That’s just… another rule.

^ I’m surprised all eyes weren’t on us, to be honest. The way we were carrying on, haha.

^ Yeah, it was super fun times. I miss those days. No one else gets it when I tell them, but….

^ Absolutely. You gotta come back, ok? This summer. Zeeke is already in.

^ You and me both. Can’t wait for another unbelievable late-night diner scene.
