One last promise

One day we sat,

I remember a phone in hand,

and you said to me,

one day we'll go to the beach.

I remember what you said,

it's so far away,

but I won't let me forget.

The days have passed,

our life no more crossed,

and two winters after,

I still dream of you.

That time we should have gone,

we went to your home,

and in silence we left,

and in the city we went.

It was a hot summer night,

I had to left you there,

as the time has pass by,

but I won't forget,

one promise we have left.

And if one day we'll met again,

may this soon I pray,

I would hardly say,

let's go to the sea,

to dream, once more,

over this damned blu sky.

Just a man in a mission.

Studying nuclear aerospace applications by day,

dreaming in the arts by night,

living in a contrast between me, my dreams and my destiny
