The sounds of that crackle against the world tells such tales
Of the sweet beauty which every now and again one might see
Not to be outdone by the warm and sultry winds against my sails
As they pushed me harder getting home to you, the one and only
--
Nothing was going to stop the rhythmic sounds of her siren song
As our fingers began to explore, attempting their own little dance
Nothing ever told us anything we were doing was wrong
As the sounds began to move us, and our souls began to prance
--
Lighter we were than all the others before
And when it was through it wasn't something to be let go
Searching forever for that magical moment behind some door
It would never have ended but one of us was late to the show
--
Find you in that space and time as I hear the music play
Feeling you're still with me the rhythm begins to pull my soul
Until you appear to answer the call of the beat, your begin to sway
For even this one more dance, let us give the dice a roll
--
For yours truly will be here tomorrow
And each day after that
Hearing the music play relieving my sorrow
Believing yet that it's you, I still can't
--
Everynight becomes but one more dance
As long as you continue to return
Staring into those crystal blue eyes, never thought I had a chance
To ease my souls aching yearn
