On top,
of mountain of sadness,
there grows a tree.
On tree,
it’s hard to see,
there rests a nest.
In the nest,
there sings a sparrow.
Deep in the sparrow’s heart,
there resides great joy.
Life is worth the living,
because of the great joy,
deep in the sparrow’s heart,
in the resting nest,
in the tree,
on top,
of the mountain of sadness.

love it....agree with Colleen.
Wow, just wow. The sparrow doesn’t know it’s a mountain of sadness, it just knows to sing, the joy echoes across the land.. “ this is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice, and be glad in it.”
Awww, this is so beautiful and heartfelt. TRUE. When the birds stop singing we are in serious trouble.
