On The Fence

Pitter patter, natter natter,

Raindrops outside, inside chatter,

Right ear listening as they kiss the glass,

Left ear waiting for the chaos to pass,

Right eye gazing watching with awe,

Left eye glancing capturing each flaw,

Middle eye thinking deeper in deep,

The two sides of life in which I keep,

I created this mess through my choices a little,

but circumstance overruled when my heart was brittle,

Craving the balance, a stability of life,

No more broken dreams, worries and strife,

Live for the love that loves that I live,

Not for the offerences of which I can give.
