On Poetry (Revised): The Audience Weeps

We.
Wonder.
We marvel.
But I am always. But I am always.
I'm so blind.
Poor eyesight from birth.
I need glasses.
If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
And breathe and gasp.
Lament and postulate.
But I am always. But I am always.
Protracted prostrate
Or prostate protracted
If I tilt
Will you tilt with me?
If I slide
Will you slide beside me?
_
And breathe-
But I am—
Always.
If I falter or fumble
Will you
Tilt and slide to me?
-and gasp
_
As wordslose
Sub
Stance
I'm so blind.
I didn't recognise
The signs.
If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

Diction fails me when
Overcome
with broad strokes

Lines or liestold

In jest or to disguisedisgust

If I bleedforcraft alone to perform like a broken tainted mechanism
Will you bleed with me?
Worship my taunt and deep dives as scripture.
I vaunt and flaunt till my splattered ego lies.
I'm so blind.
I don't see
My world crumbling
Around me.
If I feel
Does the audience weep?
Overloaded expositional beauty
masks a vacuum.
Separate and highlight words to make them seem
That I am always
P r o f o u n d
And
In tents.
I'm so blind.
To my own gaslight.
If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poultry.
Will you take the top of your head off too?
