RAINY EVENING

On a rainy evening of Friday,
The world slows down, the sky turns grey.
The pitter-patter of raindrops on the roof,
Creates a symphony that's gentle and aloof.
The streets are slick with shimmering puddles,
The air is fresh, the rain a welcome cuddle.
The city lights reflect in the pools,
And people rush home, away from the drools.
The sound of rain is a calming balm,
It washes away the stress and qualm.
The Friday night feels cozy and snug,
As we sip our tea and give our thoughts a hug.
So let the rain wash away your woes,
And bring you peace, as nature flows.
On a rainy evening of Friday,
The world is serene, and life is a bright display.
