a limerick about an impatient wife

There once was an irritated woman searching the house

for her useless husband to come kill an intruding mouse

but the idiot was nowhere to be found so she began pulling weeds

when beneath the plants she grew for tea she found a knee

and remembered that last night she had murdered her spouse
