Ogma
A Ballade Inspired By A Beautiful Work By Justine G. Cappelli of The Chicken Legged Workshop
Introduction
This is my eighteenth piece inspired by Justine G. Cappelli's beautiful and inspirational artwork. I love that Justine always gives a full story behind the painting, which gives me more than just the painting to work off.

The Warrior Sits By The Golden Sun
With His Crook, Ogma Of The Bright Red Hair
Champion Of Tuatha Dรฉ Danann
He's Resting On A Majestic Stone Chair
And He Is Thinking Of His Land So Fair
In His Fine Coat, He Waits For Those Who Come
To Ask For Help In Their Daily Affairs
Here, Ogma Will Share His Words And Wisdom

Ogma, Considering What Things Will Come
No Longer A Fighter But A Thinker
Now His Time Of Fighting Battles Is Done
Though For His Chosen People, Ogma Cares
Though His Sword Is Sheathed, Evil Must Beware
Under The Symbol Of The Golden Sun
Ogma Takes His Rest, The Wind Blows His Hair
Here, Ogma Will Share His Words And Wisdom

He Is No King, But Respect He Has Won
In His Coat Of Many Colours With Flair
Yet No One Knows Where This Wise Man Came From
There Are Stories And Legends Here And There
Though Really, Ogma Has No Need To Care
He Can Rest On The Deeds That He Has Done
He Is At Peace, He Feels It In The Air
Here, Ogma Will Share His Words And Wisdom

Will Ogma Be Here, Or Else Who Knows Where?
He Will Never Forsake The Golden Sun
And You Can Be Sure He Will Always Care
Here, Ogma Will Share His Words And Wisdom
