O My Beloved

In Absence and Yearning

By Zulqarnain HaiderPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

O my Beloved, where are you?

Your absence has made the heart blue.

In the silence of the night, I yearn,

For your presence, my soul does burn.

The stars, they whisper your name,

In every breeze, I feel the same.

Your love is a light that guides my way,

In your absence, I am led astray.

Your eyes, a universe so deep,

In your gaze, my secrets sleep.

O my Beloved, return to me,

For without you, I am not free.

Each moment without you is a test,

In your presence, I find rest.

O my Beloved, where are you?

My heart beats only for you.
