Nowhere

I hear crying

Distant cries, from the depths of nowhere

Is the yearning to be understood

Some would warn, beware the calls that you hear

They will devour the ones unprepared

Rumors grow as they’re told, becoming more than they are

An anomaly, made out of fear

Creative juices consumed bringing life into hearts

That once nearly died and disappeared

I imagine them there, the voices in the mist

Once with power to guide with a word

Now a lost entity, yearning for the unspeakable kiss, from the ones with the strength to be heard
