Nowhere

Nowhere is my home

"Home" by Edward and the magnetic zeros, cover photo

The blue skies I roam

For nowhere is my home

I have made myself alone

Solitude came to me at great cost

Now I am forever lost

But all I wanted was my heart to defrost

My frigid soul is blown like a tumbleweed

No roots grow from my seeds

Leaving me woefully freed

Independence leaves me empty

Making enough not plenty

I feel I have been wasting my ten years of twenty

The time it took to escape made me age

But I will no longer have a cage

And yet still I find myself in rage

My furious passions hardly every subside

For my past demons are always allied

So my home remains worldwide
