Rich blue skies warm weather & a cool breeze
Mmmm... greatness in a day!
Sunkissed and warm skin the
First step towards confidence in your stride
Blooming flowers fragrant, vibrant in color
Ahhhh can you smell that....
Its the end of summer welcoming in autumn time
The leaves begin to redden, brown even
Such a beautiful palette
The season of letting go to prep
For coming seasons of rebirth
But this moment here and now
Is perfection, easy like a smile 😊
Lovely like an engulfing hug
Creating the invitation of
calmness and friendliness with ease
Somehow the roses smell of cinnamon
Like they were dipped in spice
Mmm.. the comfort of an autumn day

Perfect Little Pirate
The rough, sodden rope bit into her fingers as she swung over the roiling water far below. Reaching out with the toe of her boot, she managed to catch hold of the rain-soaked railing of the ship- and promptly slipped. Throwing herself forward, she landed hard on the deck, slamming her elbows against the wood planks. The sharp yelp of pain quickly bubbled into a laugh, and she rolled onto her back, laughing up at the gray sky as a torrent of rain washed away the soot covering her skin.
