Nodded Their Heads in Agreement

You're working though all of creation

Blades of grass nodded their heads in agreement,

knowing that He is and was and will be exquisitely good.

And His mercy lasts forever, through all generations,

they agreed and had purpose in this agreement.

Though they knew they would wither,

and that their lives were short-lived,

they testified to His goodness daily.

His warm smile was like sunshine on their faces;

they were here today and dried up far too soon.

The truth and glory were grown and made known!

Blades of grass nodded their heads in agreement,

they knew His authority and majestic name.

They saw the rest of creation acknowledge His splendor.
