" A Night at the Zoo"

By Colleen WaltersPublished 6 months ago • Updated 6 months ago • 1 min read

Last night was like

" A Night at the Zoo"

the moon is my witness

and pledges his ᖴᑌᒪᒪ

testimony

and a ฿łⱠⱠłØ₦ stars saw it all

as i sat on my back steps

watching a ₣€ŘΔŁ cat bring

her kittens to eat the food

I put out- to tame her and

get her fixed-

a ᖇᗩᑕᑕᗝᗝᑎ shows up with

a purposeful ŜŴÃĞĞẸŘ

not expecting me to be there

I spoke and he turned and ran

cats stayed

here comes a big ᗝᑭᗝᔕᔕᑌᗰ

terrible eyesight but

he heard me speak and

ŴĂĎĎĹĔĎ away in what

could be loosely called a hurry

now comes a small ᖇᗩᑕᑕᗝᗝᑎ

he doesn't see me and ƤỮ₣₣Ş up

at the cats so I speak

ⓅⓄⓄⒻ

he's gone

i was not expecting

the 千ㄖ乂

he comes βØỮŇĆƗŇǤ into home base

sideways like he was

trying to keep ᏟuᏒfᎬᎳ

cat speaks

he does a ᏒᎾᏞᏞbᎪᏟᏦ and

βŐÚŃČĔŚ away

i laugh

and he suddenly looks

like a ᑕᗩᖇ丅ᗝᗝᑎ ᑕᕼᗩᖇᗩᑕ丅ᗴᖇ

ŚРĨŃŃĨŃĞ his wheels to

exit stage right

cats finish eating and drinking

and after they leave

i throw food out for the

museum crew

all of the ₵Ø₦₴₮ⱤɄ₵₮łØ₦

around me has displaced

the wild animals and

their food supply

i guess I need to put

more food out

i will always be kind to

God's creatures

except r͓̽o͓̽a͓̽c͓̽h͓̽e͓̽s͓̽

I don't care how

cute Disney tries

to make them look

in " 𝓔𝓷𝓬𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓽𝓮𝓭".
