Nobody Loves You Like That

Translated from Ukrainian

By Dmytro IzvoznikovPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

Nobody loves you like that. I'm alone.

I love you like a damned man. To death.

Earth in the sky, evening, happiness, smoke,

Years and years, snows, erased by water,

They are only one thing for me: you and you...

Centuries, waters and peoples are smoking...

You are my memory of the steppe-feather grass,

The stars are the heavenly voice and freedom.

Look, look: mine is your voice:

How it glows warmly at dawn...

I love you like my salt Sivash,

Like a forest loves its last leaf in December.
