You lay me down and soothe me to sleep
A supportive pillow keeps my neck from creaking
You stay still and sturdy so I can sleep soundly
Your only complaint is when you creak and groan
But your complaints are muted by pleasing moans
I take you for granted and test your resolve
But you’re always there for me, nurturing my dreams
I clean you occasionally and dress you in sheets
But we both know it’s rare and more of a treat
You’re always there for me, no matter what
Keeping me warm when the nights turn cold
Put up with the tossing and turning when it’s hot
You soothe me when I’m sick
And don’t complain about the prodding of my ....
Because when I have company, I wobble your wood
I know you would cheer for me if you could
You don’t even cringe or shake at the sounds my butt makes
Ask no questions when you suddenly vibrate
You love and support me in every state, making me feel safe
I cuddle under your covers and feel less alone
You are always the foundation of every home
