No Flower Is Nicer Than Another

No flower is nicer than another bloom,

Each chases away a little gloom,

God painted petals in colours bright,

Giving the gardens a joyful sight.

The rose stands proud in shades of red,

The daisy lifts its cheerful head,

Bluebells dance when breezes blow,

Adding beauty where they grow.

Sunflowers stretch towards the sky,

Watching the summer days pass by,

Lilies open fresh and fair,

Spreading sweetness through the air.

Poppies sway across the land,

Nature’s beauty close at hand,

Wildflowers growing by the road,

Lightening every travel load.

No flower boasts it is the best,

Each one blooms beside the rest,

Different colours side by side,

Filling hearts with gentle pride.

Children gather bunches bright,

Smiling at the lovely sight,

Grandparents stop to breathe them in,

Remembering where they’ve been.

God made every shape and hue,

Yellow, purple, pink and blue,

Every petal has its place,

Every bloom has special grace.

So when you see a flower grow,

Take a moment there to know,

No flower stands above another,

Each one is a gift from our Creator.
