No Equal

The shape of love

Of love, there is no equal.

She dances in

scented sweetness.

Of love, there is no equal.

She bares herself

completely.

Of love, there is no equal.

She rests in

measured stillness.

Of love, there is no equal.

She drowns in

desolate sorrow.

Of love, there is no equal

She soars—

courageous, unflinching.

Of love, there is no equal.

Author's Notes: I've been away for a little while (moving and working on other projects) but this one popped into my head and I just had to share it.
