A Celebration of Spring

"Nineteen for '21"

Sing these nineteen lines, carry the tune!

Spring Festival during waxing moon,

Grandchildren all here, the greatest boon,

Warm days and green meadows coming soon!

Begin with a game and mead, bright cheer!

A feast of fortune, benefits clear,

A procession to the Fae living here.

To the hillfolk, then to those lost, dear,

A visit to birds, bees... the strorm near,

Taking our sweet rest with the Woodes' seer.

Candles of wax poured and dipped quite well,

Color and carve, we're learning the spell!

Laughter and joy abound, feeling swell,

Smoked with applewood, add glaze and jell,

Roast over glowing coals' flames of hell,

Early green spears and roots of the dell.

Chalice of wine rings like a bell,

Each around the circle - dreams to tell,

Traders, yes, never our honor sell!
