Night Whispers
A whisper of lips in the darkness of night,
Bodies entwined and drenched in moonlight.
Sighs of silent nothings shared between lovers,
Only for them and not for the ears of others.
Hand finds hand which clutches back tightly,
Hidden love hides what should not be took lightly,
A devotion by two, separate hearts become one,
Desperately clinging to each other while they run.
Two individuals mumbling their promises,
Who knows what attracts but God says that it’s opposites.
Vows that can’t won’t be announced in a chapel,
Muttered while she and she’s hearts do grapple.
