Nick Drake: Gone Too Soon

Introduction:

Someone shared an image of "Pink Moon" on Facebook, and the loss of Nick Drake is a true "After It's Gone" situation.

We lost Nick Drake to a drug overdose at the age of 26. he suffered from depression through lack of recognition (which came after his death), and in a little way, I am to blame because I never bought any of his albums, although I loved "Time Has Told Me", a song on the first sampler I bought, "Nice Enough To Eat"

Nick Drake: Gone Too Soon

🌜🌟🎼🎻🎸💔🎸🎻🎼🌟🌛

Time Has Told Me That We Were All Wrong

We Should Have Been There, Now No More Songs

Will We Hear From You And Your Guitar

And You Burned Though You Are A True Star

🎸💔🎸

Northern Skies Lit By Your Pink Moon

We Should Have Been There, You're Gone Too Soon

You Will Never Age, You're Immortal

The World Has Heard You, And Is Grateful

🎸💔🎸

Yes, You Were Plagued By That Black Eyed Dog

Dragged You Down In A Depressive Fog

We Were Never There, And You Were Lost

Sadly, You Paid The Ultimate Cost

🎸💔🎸

Time Has Told Us You Were Deserving

I'll Play That Record And Hear You Sing
