did we build this all
for nothing
never, don't you ever
contemplation the revelation
the sense of achievement
give up what you feel
nothing
stuttered uttered conviction
insecurity and vulnerability screaming
did we build our life
on nothing
forget fantasised love in Hollywood movies
your embossed imprint on my body
big black chasm awaits
to make sense of the big
nothing
multiples of two everywhere
big black chasm awaits
my life's pleasant disruptions
before we came, we were
nothing
you once shoehorned space
no flicker of light
when we leave, we are
nothing
in the deep abyss
of my being
from where my
heart has
gone
no heartbeat drum
Never...
Never...
Never, don't you ever give up

Author's Notes: Was messing about with some older pieces and unused bits and created this. There is an unused nonet in there, as a hint, the line "your embossed imprint on my body" is where that starts. Anyway, I thought it flowed well together.
