My Trusty Safety Shield
Navigating Helmet Hair with Humor and Pride
Oh, helmet, thou protective gear,
That keeps my noggin safe and clear!
Upon my head, you sit so snug,
Like a turtle shell, my safety hug.
Whether I'm biking down the street,
Or racing on my scooter fleet,
Or riding my motorcycle wild,
You keep me safe, my trusted shield.
A hard shell that fits just right,
With straps and buckles, snug and tight.
You protect my brain, my precious dome,
From any unexpected comb.
You shield me from a nasty fall,
From bumps and bruises, big and small.
From flying bugs and gusts of wind,
You're a trusty, steadfast friend.
But oh, the times I've been bemused,
By helmet hair, it can't be excused!
With flattened locks and sweaty strands,
I look like I've been in a windstorm's hands.
I've tried to style and tame the mess,
But helmet hair, it's quite a stress.
No amount of gel or spray,
Can fix the hair that goes astray.
And yet, I know you're worth the fuss,
For without you, it's a safety plus.
So I'll keep you on my head so tight,
And bear the helmet hair with might.
Oh, helmet, you're my safety gear,
Though you may make me look a little queer.
I'll wear you with pride, without a doubt,
For you protect my head, inside and out.
So, here's to you, my trusted cap,
My savior from many a head mishap.
With you on my head, I ride with glee,
Knowing you've got my safety decree.
So, helmet, you may mess my hair,
But I'll wear you with pride, and gladly swear,
To always don you on my ride,
For you're my guardian, my safety guide!
