My self worth

I'm me.....

I am not the echo of others’ praise,

neither the shadows of passing days.

I'm the one who teaches the flame to burn.

With every fall, I rise, I learn.

My worth is not based on my name or gold,

Not measured by another’s frame.

It’s in the quiet I’ve survived,

The storms I’ve faced, and still I’ve thrived.

I am the roots beneath the tree, The stillness deep inside the sea.

Unseen, perhaps, but strong and true, A force no doubt can undo.

So let them speak or turn away— They could never sway my light.

I carry suns beneath my skin, And all I need, I hold within.
