My Poetry

My poetry was never borrowed,
It grew where silent heartbeats hide.
Between the tears I never counted,
And all the dreams I kept inside.

It found me when the world grew distant,
When shadows gathered at my door.
It lit a candle in my darkness,
Then whispered, “You are so much more.”

Each verse is stitched with threads of living,
Each line remembers where I’ve been.
Some wear the perfume of red roses,
Some carry storms beneath their skin.

I have written beneath the moonlight,
While stars kept watch above my soul.
A crystal ball could never measure,
The countless ways these words make whole.

My ink has danced with hope and heartache,
With hidden fires no eye could see.
Every page became a promise,
That life still had a place for me.

There are secrets folded softly,
Between the spaces of each rhyme.
Not everything is meant for speaking,
Some truths belong to silent time.

If ever you should read my pages,
Read them gently, line by line.
For every poem leaves behind,
A little piece of this heart of mine.

I do not write to chase applause,
Nor to wear a poet’s crown.
I write because my soul keeps singing,
Even when the world falls down.

So if my words should find your spirit,
And help one weary heart believe,
Then every tear that shaped my journey,
Has given more than I could leave.

My poetry is not just writing.
It is where my spirit learned to fly.
It is the voice that kept me living,
The reason hope refused to die.

When all is said and life grows quiet,
Long after I have slipped away,
May one small verse still hold a candle,
To light another soul one day.

Words are my compass. Ink is my map. 🌹
