My Love of mine
You make me wish I could rewind time.
So, I could have you in every moment, every memory.
You have no idea back then how much someone like you would’ve meant to me.
You inspire my words, my art and all that I do.
I prayed for that day you uttered the words you loved me too.
You see little G always wanted a prince,
Many phonies came and went.
She stopped believing the prince would one day arise.
The day you eventually came and changed the entirety of my life.
You reinvented my belief angels.
You save me every single day with no personal angle.
Your smile is permanently imprinted on my brain.
There isn’t a thing in this world I wouldn’t do to see it maintained.
My Love of mine
You make me wish I could fast forward time.
To that day we say I do.
To the day we make little I’s and you’s.
Or that moment we look into each other’s eyes to finally say that last goodbye.
Maybe then we slow down the time.
So we can look back at our beautiful life.
The life of many laughs and some hard times.
The life of magic between you and I
How lucky am I to have a love of mine that transcends any and all of my timelines.

1911.45 ACP
Everyday I walk past you, your smile so warm others attract you. It's almost contagious, your smile, so radiant. The happy kid, practically skipping to 6th. 6th period was algebra we always had fun. I supposed I could have asked more questions, but I never asked a single one. I Never saw the grades on his tests. I didn't know when he got home his father beat him half to death. I didn't know the bullies were piling on, I didn't realize he always listened to sad songs. How could I save someone I didn't know was drowning. How Could I save someone who wears a happy mask but underneath is frowning. Somehow he found peace in his weapon, who knew to him a gun store was his heaven. Who knew his classmates would be the victims of his therapy. Who knew he lived in his own little world no clarity. The silence in the halls became deafening. Now because of him we all sleep restlessly. The day is new, so I start again. I now ask everyone how their day has been. Sometimes all humans need is a friend. The sooner we realize this we will gain humanity again.

Tales of the Aurora Borealis
Who knew a solar storm could be so beautiful? Purples, reds, and greens shimmering in our skies like dancing ribbons. Hypnotic and enchanting, the Northern Lights have had us humans in complete awe for centuries. Which got me thinking, what did our ancestors think of the Aurora Borealis?
