My little piece of heaven

A little essay to escape reality

By Zephyr Galecrest Published 2 months ago 1 min read
A way to imagine a little piece of my heaven and maybe yours 🤔

My heaven isn’t a place on a map. It isn’t a city, a landscape, or some hidden paradise tucked between mountains or oceans. My heaven lives in the quiet corners of my imagination, where everything I love gathers without limits or boundaries. It is the only place big enough to hold every memory, every dream, every person who means something to me.

In that world, warmth feels like sunlight on a meadow in midsummer, soft and golden, wrapping around me the way a familiar smile does. When the people I care about speak, their voices glow through my mind like a star bursting into colour, bright enough to light the whole sky. And when they drift away, even for a moment, the space around me cools and widens, like my soul is being pulled toward a silent, endless void. But in my imagination, I can pull everything close again. Nothing is ever truly lost.

This little piece of heaven shifts with me. It grows when I grow. It blends every place I’ve ever loved and every feeling I’ve ever wished I could keep. Here, mountains rise at the edge of oceans, forests glow with constellations, and memories breathe beside dreams. Everything feels natural and impossibly vast, yet somehow completely under my control.

My imagination is the one place that never disappoints or restricts me. It’s the one world where every beautiful thing can exist at the same time. And that is why it will always be my heaven—boundless, familiar, and entirely my own.
