A May poem inspired by and for the May challenge proposed by Mike Singleton:

💮 💮 💮 💮 💮

My dearest May, named after Maia, the goddess of Spring,

I humbly thank you for all you bring.

The Hawthorns are in bloom,

An emerald lights up the room,

Sitting in my shiny new ring!

💮 💮 💮 💮 💮

Enjoy the beauty of May, everyone!
