MY LAKE FISHING BOAT, THE TITANIC
Can’t believe my little boat went down the very first day

MY LAKE FISHING BOAT, THE TITANIC
I bought myself a fishing boat,
It wasn’t very grand,
The bloke who sold it said to me,
She’s finest boat on land.
I said boats aren’t for bloody land,
They’re meant to be afloat,
He looked at me and scratched his head,
Then said, well buy the boat.
I painted Titanic on the side,
And took her to the lake,
I packed my flask and sandwiches,
And half a chocolate cake.
I pushed her gently from the bank,
And climbed inside with pride,
I hadn’t even cast my line,
When water came inside.
I shouted, Titanic you’re sinking,
This really can’t be right,
A fisherman sat watching me,
And nearly died with fright.
Then someone shouted, stand up love,
The water’s two feet deep,
I looked around, got out the boat,
And dragged her like a sheep.
