My Inner Child

In shadows deep, my days of old,

Where hurt and pain took firm a hold,

A wounded child, I once did roam,

In search of solace, finding home.

Through veils of time, I now unfold,

To mend the wounds, break free the mold,

With hands of kindness, eyes that see,

I heal the past, I set me free.

A world once draped in shades of gray,

Transformed by hope's unwavering ray,

I delve within, with courage bold,

Redeeming the stories left untold.

Innocence shattered, trust betrayed,

Yet here I stand, unswayed,

I cradle my inner self with care,

And lead us into a world more fair.

With whispers soft, I mend the seams,

Untangle doubts, unravel dreams,

In understanding's embrace divine,

I find the love that helps me shine.

Let laughter ring, let sorrows fade,

As healing melodies are played,

The child inside, no longer bound,

Redeemed, her lost treasures found.

With every stride, I walk this way,

Reclaim the light of a brand-new day,

In every beat, my spirit's flight,

Redeeming my dreams with pure delight.

For deep within, the power lies,

To mend the hurt, clear cloudy skies,

This heartfelt journey, brave and wild,

Redeems the soul of the inner child in me, revived and reconciled.
