I lie in a bed
The comforter is goose down
Entertwined
Are we
As one
And separate
a permanent
Pondering of the others senses
Contentment is found
And cool are the pillows
Night air
An influx
And the space between
A rebound
I breathe the soul of another
My lungs expand
And my heart pounds
I can feel the death of sentiment
As I drive the last one home
Is revived
A verb
A demise
Of loneliness
An awakening
Of trust
I am the queen
Of this
World
A war of words
Is softened by the harsh rasp
Of a voice in loves tongue
A caress no longer concerns
As the height of soul crushed
My whole
And repairs.
