My Fear, Part II

Raven's Perspective; no one asked for this

***

Stay back, demon!

Begone, stay away!

Don't hurt her!

***

I may not have a mortal body,

But I have a powerful voice.

Coming to her aid,

Fighting off her negative memories,

Like a strong warrior.

***

I desire eternal happiness for her,

Nothing will get in my way of achieving that goal.

She doesn't deserve to suffer,

My sword and shield will protect her.

***

I will not allow her to sulk in sadness,

I refuse.

She may not be a strong business woman like I am,

But her gift is in the arts.

Something I cannot relate to,

But it helps her.

***

I'm not an artist like her,

I'm more of a confident and savage persona.

I thrive in businesses,

She does not.

She struggles,

But when she closes her eyes,

That's when I can meet with her.

Helping her throughout any business,

Loving her unconditionally.

***

And I will keep on fighting,

Until these negative memories fade away.

Until they leave her alone for good.

***

About this poem:

- Raven is the voice in my head, who I actually see when I enter a "dream world" or close my eyes in a stressful situation.
