My Ecstasy

Addiction

By Mercedes ChavezPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

He was unexpected

I truly did not expect him

Or his effect on me

My heart, my mind, my emotions

He was the calming sound of a light summer rain

Amid my destructive hurricane

I want him to consume me

Leaving no crevice untouched

No ounce of flesh untasted

Ravish me and leave me a heap of trembling limbs

And a fiercely beating heart

As my body is rendered useless in his wake

He is my crazy drug

My addiction that I can never get enough of

Being with him gives me an incredible high

To the point when he's gone

I feel as though I can't breathe

I want him endlessly

He is my ecstasy
