My Eclipsed Heart!

A Heartbroken poem.

Eclipsing my love for you is as if I told the Sun to leave and never return.

Celestial bodies never meant to cross paths, in the cold, vacuum of the space between us.

Lunar phases are my cries for the warmth of your embrace I never could earn, because of my many Faces,

Inhibiting my desire to share my heart with you...cutting like a Crescent knife that draws Blood.

Peeling back the Azure sky, I finally waltzed across your Noble path to stand next to you...risking the sunburn,

Staring back into your bright face for the happiest seven minutes and a few seconds of my Full life, to

Eclipse your heart, wishing I could kiss you...being so close...yet...so far just to leave and start a New!
