My Concert
A Concert So Loud Even My Thoughts Left
My legs felt like rubber.
I could not sit still.
I blew on my trumpet,
Not a sound came out.
Then my foot stuck to glue on the floor.
My teacher nodded at me.
A burp came out.
I stuttered when I tried to speak.
Some people seemed to stare at me.
Embarrassed 'cause I was not prepared.
Mu face turned as red as my hair.
My zipper came down.
I had nowhere to hide.
Friends laughed at me,
But the concert went on.
Some people seemed to stare at me.
The concert was over.
I fell flat on my face.
I took few minutes to stand
'Cause I skinned my knee.
My shoes were untied.
I stumbled again.
Some people seemed to stare at me.
