My Child

I love you so much

My Child

Tiny hands that cling,

yet hold the weight of fate,

eyes that pierce the dawn,

as if they know the world.

I press you to my chest,

your heartbeat drums in mine,

the silence bends and breaks,

a kingdom stirs to life.

Your cry cuts through the night,

like thunder in the void,

it marks the start of all,

a fire that will not fade.

Each step you choose to take,

will echo into stone,

and I will guard your path,

with strength that will not fall.

Though shadows stretch and loom,

I stand, I will not yield,

a fortress made of blood,

to shield you from the storm.

Now as you sleep in peace,

the crown of dreams is yours,

my child, my living truth,

the reason I am whole.

And as I hold you close,

a proud daddy thanks his lucky star ⭐
