When you speak,

I breathe the vapoured hearts

that sweeten bitter air.

When you smile,

despair evaporates;

my lips begin to curl.

When you cry,

I yearn to catch your tears

and taste the salted cure.

When you leave

my heart is ruptured,

'til I see your face once more.
