My Beloved

Return, that I may look upon you once more

By Linda V GoldfischerPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

He was strong and dark, like the pillars of Lebanon.

She was gentle and light, like the doves of Carolina.

He was adorned in gold, like a temple

She was adorned with silver, like a shrine.

His walls were tall, and respectful

Her walls were thin, and graceful

His walls came down with honesty

Her walls came down with sincerity

His speech was electric which made him exciting.

Her touch was soft which made her inviting.

He gave up his pride, which made him humble.

She gave up her virginity, which made her pure.

Love has awoken and is beautiful!
