mummy's little munchkin

at christmas time

By someone specialPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

Mummy's lil munchkin

To lose a son who ment so much,

Is difficult to bear.

It just seems unbelievable,

So cruel and so unfair.

And now that Christmas time is here,

And I'm putting up the tree.

I'm always left here wondering,

How christmas should have been.

Listening to other people talk,

of family and friends.

It's hard to hide the pain inside,

And just be happy for them.

What would it mean to hear your voice,

And see your smile again.

Hold onto your little hand,

And kiss you goodnight again.

So as we place our special gifts,

Around the Christmas tree.

Its somehow hard to understand,

Why certain things must be.

But you'll live on forever,

In the heart of those you touched.

For you were someone special,

Who was loved so very much.
