The great apes are revolting
They’re mounting an attack
They’re taking on Big Oil
To claim their mountain back.

They’re digging their trenches,
they’re hiding in the trees.
They’re black-belts in karate,
Jiu jitsu, and tai chi.

They’ve blown up all the bridges,
they’ve torn up all the roads.
They’ve dammed up all the rivers,
to protect their abode.

They move faster than lighting,
they know this terrain,
And they’ll stop at nothing
to end Big Oil’s campaign

of destroying their homeland
just so they may fulfil
their lust for yet more power.
They’ll die upon this hill.

They won’t be heard coming,
there’ll be no chance to run.
They’re silent as a ninja
despite weighing half a tonne.

So, Big Oil: keep sending
your men with all their diggers
But let this be a warning,
that once you pull that trigger

You’ll regret the day,
you selfish oil drillers,
that you decided to mess with
the mountain guerillas.
