Nature's Call

Mother Nature, so wild and free

A force to be reckoned with, a mystery

From the gentle breeze to the raging sea

She is the nurturer, the caretaker, the key

Her beauty is unmatched, her power immense

The mountains, the valleys, the forests

All a part of her grand defense

Against the destruction of human excess

She gives us life, she gives us air

But we take and take without a care

We pollute and harm without repair

But she still stands, she is still there

Her cycles of birth and decay

Remind us of the fleeting nature of our day

But her resilience shows us the way

To live in harmony, to find balance and sway

So let us honor Mother Nature's worth

And preserve her for all time on earth

Lest we lose her beauty, her magic, her girth

And condemn ourselves to a fragile and barren hearth.
